Ron Thompson & His Resistors in 2008 Blues Series at Arena Theater
Arena Theater proudly brings back Ron Thompson and His Resisters for a return engagement. Ron Thompson is a legendary rhythm and blues guitarist and master keyboardist whose career began in the rough and tumble world of East San Francisco Bay nightclubs and bars. Thompsons latest all-solo CD, Resonator, was released in January 2007. Ron Thompson and His Resisters is the second in a five part Blues Series: Friday August 22, Shana Morrison; Saturday September 20, MoFo Party Band; Saturday October 18, Janiva Magness. The 2008 Blues Series at the Arena Theater is supported by Gualala Chevron and DuPont's Mendocino Mercantile at the wharf in Point Arena.
