About "Broad Is The Way":
Broad is the Way was created as a step further for a group of 5 guys from Alabama. Most of the members came from a local band in Tuscaloosa called "The Get Down Kids". TGDK was started with no intentions of ever doing anything besides playing local shows and spreading love in the local scene. However, after touring and playing several out of state shows, they became a well-known regional act. After landing a spot on the Ernie Ball stage at Van's Warped Tour in Atlanta, GA last summer, the band decided to pursue this crazy dream to the fullest and head west for sunny California. The move was just part of the many changes to come, which eventually birthed Broad is the Way. The band spent the next several months writing and recording a demo they hope to be well accepted across many genres. The music in Broad is the Way stands out because there was no agenda during the writing process. There was no specific "sound" the band was going for. "We just wrote what we were feeling at the time"-says frontman Marshall Craig. "We just wanted to create something that would inspire people to become more than what they are." Thought provoking, transparent lyrics driven along by aggressive guitar and drums makes Broad is the Way one of the "must hear" bands of 2012. Be on the lookout for a lot more to come from these guys.
