Little Annie and Baby Dee with Dorian Wood in concert at the Mezz
"She graduated from the school of hard knocks with her soul still intact, a heart as big as the continental divide" -Lydia Lunch

"A raconteur and restless spirit" -Robert Conroy

"A New York baby and a London legend" -Antony Hegarty

Little Annie aka Annie Anxiety Bandez, is a smokey contralto, raconteur and restless spirit who has spent the last 30 years creating a body of work that would take much more space than available here to list. Since stepping onto her first stage at the age of 16, her music  and her life  has defied categorization, limitations and/or restrictions her life often imitating her art and visa versa. A native New Yorker she is a chanteuse and lyricist, a self-taught painter, and multimedia artist, She has recorded with vanguard figures of late twentieth century music -bringing a blend of tortured soul/ sardonic humor & wild love & awe of life to tracks she's cut with everyone from Adrian Sherwood & the ON-U Sound Stable to Crass to Current 93, COIL, The Wolfgang Press, Jennie Mathias, Anthony Hegarty to Marc Almond. She is a prolific songwriter who has written for likes of the late Bim Sherman, Paul Oakenfold and most recently Living Color.  In early 2012, after literally years in the 'we have to work together stage', Annie joined up with her dear friend Baby Dee.

"Completely different and completely brilliant" -Evening Standard

"A quiet beguiling beauty" -Independent On Sunday

"Startlingly affecting stuff" -4/5 Attitude

Baby Dee is an enchanting composer, performance artist, classically trained harpist, circus sideshow veteran, and transgender street legend. Baby Dee was born in 1953 in Cleveland, OH. Known originally for playing harp on Anthony & The Johnsons debut album - it was Hegarty who sent Dee's compositions to David Tibet (Current 93) who urged her to produce a solo album. Tibet later went on to release Baby Dee's first album on his label Durtro. Dee's discography now includes seven albums released in the last ten years. Her infectious cackle and extraordinary talent on piano, harp and accordion has caught her many musical admirers. Her sound is quintessentially Dee.

"State Of Grace" is a record that covers love, loss, leaving and the confusion of time. It features collaborations with such luminaries and modern mavericks as Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Eric Chenaux , Chris Cundy (Guillemots, Cold Specks), Jordan Hunt (The Irrepressibles, The Hidden Cameras) Euan Rodger (Black Carrot/Lustfaust) and Joe Carvell (DON'T MOVE!/Ma Trio).

Los Angeles-based artist DORIAN WOOD is "armed with a vocal charisma that would befit a preacher and an experimental streak that would make avant-gardists swoon" (WNYC Culture). A wunderkind with a headstrong DIY discipline, Dorian has brought his emotionally-charged performances to concert halls, museums, music venues and performance spaces throughout the US, Mexico and Europe, with a voice that channels the skill and ferocity of such auteurs as Scott Walker, Nina Simone, Nick Cave and Tom Waits.

In early 2010, Dorian was joined onstage by legendary artist Little Annie at (Le) Poisson Rouge in New York. That same year, Dorian received critical praise for his performance and "picture perfect" art direction (Los Angeles Times) in the Killsonic opera, Tongues Bloody Tongues, presented at the REDCAT in Los Angeles. Dorian performed at the REDCAT again in 2011 in the opera Zoophilic Follies, along with Timur and The Dime Museum.

Most recently , Dorian was commissioned by LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions) to present a new work for the performance series Los Angeles Goes Live, part of Pacific Standard Time. Dorian's performance installation, Athco, Or The Renaissance of Faggot Tree, incorporated over 30 performers, and was presented at Barnsdall Art Park on October 9, 2011. Dorian also performed with acclaimed artist Marina Abramovic in her piece An Artist's Life Manifesto, presented at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) on November 12, 2011.

Dorian has also performed at LACMA, UCLA, Highways Performance Space (Santa Monica), Pacific Design Center (West Hollywood), The Stone (New York City), Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (San Francisco) and the Stockholm Fringe Fest (Sweden).
