Carlos Reyes and Friends at Devil Mountain Coffee House
World-renowned violinist and harpist Carlos Reyes applies his classical training and more to his unique fusion of blues, rock, jazz, and traditional forms. He has performed for six presidents, a pope and the whole Cuban Castro family. He has shared the concert stage with such great artists as The Doobie Brothers, Steve Miller, Arturo Sandoval, The Crusaders, The Rippingtons, Roy Rogers, Bonnie Raitt, Charlie Daniels, Wynona Judd, Clint Black, Willie Nelson, John Handy and many more.
Carlos plays a wide variety of instruments besides the harp and violin, and is known for playing the Blues as well as Jazz and Latin-American ballads. His debut album, The Beauty of it All, spent more than 15 weeks on the Top-Ten Contemporary Jazz charts in Billboard Magazine. He has an extensive and entertaining repertoire, and his large and enthusiastic Bay Area following are always anticipating whatever new surprise or style of music hell bring to the stage. His charismatic personality and outstanding musical talents are a potent combination.
Carlos, as a player and personality on stage, is a tour-de-force. His true passion for what he does really distinguishes him from most players. He also has a wonderful openness and ability to draw the audience to be part of the musical experience with him.-- slide guitar master and producer Roy Rogers
