Glissando Concert VIII
Glissando's last concert of the season anticipates the 2019-20 season, dedicated to Beethoven, by programming music by the three great B's: Bach's mighty Third Sonata for viola da gamba (here performed on the cello) and keyboard; Beethoven's intimate and poetic Tenth Sonata for violin and piano, Op. 96; and Brahms's towering Second Piano Trio. With Jason Horowitz, violin; Rafael Popper-Keizer, cello; and Sergey Schepkin, piano.
