Oakland Mills Family Disco Night! Celebrating our 40th Anniversary!
Oakland Mills celebrates it's 40th Anniversary in style with an action packed weekend of events!
Family Disco Night is our way of going retro and celebrating a wonderful time in Oakland Mills' history - the 1970s!
Bring the family and join us in our newly renovated loft of The Other Barn as we spin disco and 70's tunes, do the hustle, have dance and 70's fashion contests, have delicious snacks, beer, and wine, see slides running throughout the night of pictures of OM from the good old days, eat retro 70's style candy, and have an all around fun time! There will be activities and videos for kids in a separate space when they grow tired of boogie-ing with the grown ups. Feel free to bring sleeping bags for kids.
This will be a true community celebraton of this great village we all call home. So don't miss it!

Sunday - Oakland Mills Farmers Market with Street Musicians! - Nine merchants including two delicoius bakeries, a coffee vendor with South American coffee, gorgeous flowers, fresh veggies and fruit 9 - 1
Sunday Night - Kick off of the Oakland Mills "Jazz in The Mills" 2008 Music Series featuring the fabulous Lavenia Nesmith. Buy tickets in advance online
