Singing Makes Perfect  under this motto, the choir singers get the knowledge of Georgian through oral traditions and do their best to reach success.

Our main aim is to share our cultural treasure to foreigners and by this way make our old country more famous in the different parts of the world. Georgia isnt known in many countries. Many people do not know about its existence, about its old traditions and natural beauty by which it is usually attractive for visitors, says director Badri Jimsheleishvili, conductor and director of the Choir of E. Mikeladze Central Music School.

Robert Geary, a part-time coastal resident and Founding Artistic Director of Piedmont East Bay Childrens Choir, brings this internationally acclaimed Georgian choir to Gualala Arts Center. The choir will be participating in the 11th triennial Golden Gate International Childrens and Youth Choral Festival (GGF) that is hosted by the Piedmont East Bay Childrens Choir.

The choir was founded in 2010 and is made up of youth and young adults ages 8 to 25. The choir hails from Tblisi, Georgia. Their singing style has similarities to folk music from the Balkans combined with elements of Orthodox singing.

Jimsheleishvili graduated the Georgian state conservatory in 1992 with a degree in conducting. From 1983 to 1995, Mr.Jimsheleishili composed pop music and while singing in the Georgian pop group Dream and Reality. Since 1990, Jimsheleishvili has been the director of the chanters group of the church of St. Panteleimon the healer (chantersgroup.webs.com).
