Jesus Christ Superstar
Jesus Christ Superstar is a 1970 Broadway rock opera that tells the story of the last week of Jesus life through modern rock music and contemporary slang. It is also unusual in its choice to tell most of the story through Judas Iscariot, the apostle who will eventually betray Jesus. July 27,28,29 and August 3,4,5 2018 at The Crestview Performing Arts Center.
The production stars a whole host of incredible local talent, including Jacob Nash as Jesus, Joshua Fleming as Judas, Mariah Cresanto as Mary Magdalene, and Robert Dennick Joki as King Herod. The creative team of Joe Asente (director) and Savannah Florkowski (music director) that brought you Carrie the Musical and The Last Five Year's returns to stage this one-of-a-king rock opera experience.
The production runs the final weekend in July (July 27-29) and the first weekend in August (August 3-5) at The Crestview Performing Arts Center in Columbiana. Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sundays at 3pm.
