Early Music Voices: Cupid and Psyche
Pre-concert talk at 2:30pm.
An afternoon of early baroque vocal and chamber music from Italy and beyond, featuring Calgarys new String Theory Music Collective. Joining them will be the singers of VoiceScapes & Toronto soprano, Katherine Hill. All will present vocal music by Luzzaschi, Monteverdi, Schütz and Jacopo Peri along with Mascitti's charming collection of chamber sonatas entitled "Cupid and Psyche."
