Cape Farm Alliance Lobster Bake & Pig Roast

Cape Elizabeth Farm Alliance is excited to continue hosting this Strawberry Festival Weekend that supports local agriculture and area businesses. As in the past, this year's event will kick off with our traditional Lobster Bake & Pig Roast Dinner on Friday, June 29th at Shady Oaks Farm. Online tickets may be purchased here OR at Alewives & Jordan's Farms. Proceeds from the Strawberry Festival support the Cape Farm Alliances mission of boosting the economic viability and sustainability of Cape Elizabeth's farming community by creating an understanding of the importance of our agricultural assets and the role we all play in ensuring their future. Specifically, your support enables us to endow local agricultural initiatives such as Judy's Pantry (a food cupboard that helps Cape families with limited resources gain access to healthy foods), the Maine Harvest Lunch program, agricultural workshops, 4-H scholarships, and environmental education throughout Cape Elizabeth's public and private schools.

6:00pm-9:00pm: Lobster Bake and Pig Roast At Shady Oak Farm (30 Fowler Rd, CE) Cost: $35.00 per person. TICKETS WILL SELL OUT, SO GET YOURS EARLY!! The evening will consist of a Silent Auction, our finest Local Boys serving up local Lobster for a traditional seaweed packed bake with steamers, local corn and lobster -lobsters sourced from Cape Elizabeth local Lobster folk.
