Spring Careening
Two of West Virginia's newest women's flat track roller derby teams - Heart of Appalachia Roller Derby and the visiting Jewel City Rollergirls - will duke it out in what is sure to be an exciting display of athleticism!
Fifteen percent of ticket proceeds will go to the Ancient Mystic Order of Samaritans (AMOS Chemika #40), members of the Odd Fellows Lodges, which has earmarked its proceeds from ticket sales to aid a local teenager, Sandra Cox, who has recently been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. Concessions at the bout will be provided by the Danville Area Lions Club which will also donate to the AMOS endeavor.
