Sunrise and Spring
Acclaimed violinist Elizabeth Blumenstock, concertmaster of the world-famous Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra (San Francisco), performs on her 1660 Andrea Guarneri violin (Cremona) with violinist Cecilia Archuleta, violist Laurel Wells, and cellist Meg Brennand playing Haydn's "Sunrise" Quartet and Mozart's "Spring" Quartet.  Rounding out the program will be Bach's masterful A-minor Sonata for Unaccompanied Violin.

"The performance fairly crackled with electricity." (Seattle Post-Intelligencer)

All of the performers will be playing in historical instruments, using period bows and gut strings, creating the rich, warm sound that conveys these dynamic yet intimate musical works best.
