Summer Evening Cruise on the Hudson River
Join Ferry Sloops aboard the "Evening Star" for a relaxing Summer evening cruise on the Hudson River. The cruise will depart from the Riverfront Green Park in Peekskill at 6PM and return at 9PM.
Captain Mary Pat Driscoll will take you through the Hudson Highlands, past Jones Pt., Iona Island, Bear Mountain, Fort Montgomery, West Point and Worlds End. The cruise includes a historical commentary and a live musical performance by Endless Field, a collaborative instrumental guitar and bass duo featuring guitarist Jesse Lewis and bassist Ike Sturm.
There will be a potluck supper aboard, so please bring a dish to share. Soft drinks, beer & wine will be available for purchase on the boat. You MAY NOT bring your own alcoholic beverages aboard.
Ferry Sloops, Inc. is a non-profit, environmental sailing organization that inspires people to appreciate and protect one of our country's greatest resources, the magnificent Hudson River.
