The Sugarcane Jane with Kristin Courville and Eric Disanto
Sugarcane Jane, the Alabama Gulf Coast-based husband and wife duo has amassed an extremely loyal following. Anthony and Savana Lee Crawford purvey what they proudly call Organic Music at its Finest. Rich, homegrown, and natural, their brand of Americana draws from a deep well of roots influences, interwoven with inflections of gospel, country, jazz, and rock. Listeners can expect mostly acoustic sounds, and some of the freshest-sounding vocal harmonies they will ever hear. Both virtuosos in their own right, Anthony is a songwriter who plays acoustic guitar, harmonica, and a bass drum (which he plays while strumming his six-string) and Savana Lee deftly dances between ukelele bass, rhythm guitar, and snare drum.
Multi-instrumentalist Anthony Crawford is known in most circles as a sideman to the stars. Over the course of the last 25 years, he has performed with Neil Young, Sonny James, Steve Winwood, Dwight Yoakam, Vince Gill, Rosanne Cash, and Rodney Crowell, and has written / co-written songs recorded by Steve Winwood, Dwight Yoakam, Kenny Rogers, Pegi Young, Lee Greenwood, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, to name a few. Yet, even with his history of working with heavyweights, Crawford feels Sugarcane Jane his musical venture with multi-instrumentalist wife Savana Lee Crawford, is his lifes calling.
Sugarcane Jane newest studio album, All Time High is a collection of some of their favorite covers (Mrs. Robinson, California Dreamin', Young Love) as well as originals deep from their well that highlight the couple's natural ability to harmonize as one. The album is being released via Crawford's Admiral Bean Records on April 5, 2018. Recorded at Anthony Crawford's own Admiral Bean Studio, in Loxley, Alabama, this album is available at live shows and digitally through iTunes, Amazon, and their website. It is a release dedicated to the memory of Sarah Beasley Davie, the mother of Executive Producer, Joseph Todd Davie.

Two people with a passion for expressing themselves through music, After meeting in the summer of 2016, Kristin asked Eric to sit in with her at a scheduled gig. It only took two rehearsals to realize they were on to something great. The duo have since toured throughout Louisiana and along the Gulf Coast. They are quickly garnering attention with their harmonious sets filled with soulful songs, bluesy guitar riffs, heart felt lyrics, with a few knock-knock jokes in between.
Kristin and Erics first album together, Forty-Two Miles, was released in November of 2017. Why Forty-Two Miles? Well... there is only forty-two miles in between where Kristin and Eric grew up in Pennsylvania! It took over 30 trips around the sun before these two songwriters crossed paths in Louisiana, but this collaboration was certainly written in the stars. Forty-Two Miles includes songs such as No One Else Like Me written by Kristin, expressing her subtle sassiness; Blue Water that includes hopeful lyrics and sultry slide guitar by Erics sexy silver resonator; and Filling Up My Soul, a sweet memory of life lessons learned. Kristins smooth, passionate vocals paired with Erics dynamic musical talent makes for a nostalgic walk through the pairs stories in each song. One show from this charming duo and youll catch on quickly that this is only the beginning of a grandeur adventure. Forty-Two Miles features songs played on local radio and tv, internet radio and has since found its way into the heart of all who have had a listen. Proud of the great reviews and feedback on their debut album, Kristin and Eric are currently on tour while working on songs for their next album.
