An Elegan Afternoon With Keisha D
Keisha D is one of brightest stars in the Palm Springs area, appearing in musicals, reviews, benefit events, and her weekly performances. Keisha was seen as Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray, Melpomene in Zanadu, and The Acid Queen in The Whos Tommy, all at Palm Canyon Theatre. In 2008 Keisha won Best Vocalist in the acclaimed McCallum Theatre Open Call Competition. Singing on stage since the age of 13, she went on to receive a full scholarship to study music at Azusa Pacific University. At California Baptist University, she studied Opera and even played the title role of Madame Butterfly. She has toured as both a Jazz and Gospel artist throughout the US, Canada, and the Virgin Islands. This will be Keishas 5 show for the series presented by Les Michaels. An Elegant Afternoon with Keisha D with her pianist Alex Danson and guitarist Jim Moraco, will feature many of Keishas most requested songs by her many fans and followers and one not to miss.
