Ferocious Intimacy Level 2: Primal Passions
If you liked Level 1, then you'll love Level 2!
Because participants must have taken "Level 1: Primal Improv" to be in this workshop, we are able to start with the assumption that everyone in the room seeks a more exuberant, more tender, more connected, more fully expressed vitality. We know we have the capacity to loosen our typical inhibitions to expressing our true feelings, as well as the willingness to receive the emotions of other ferocious pleasure beasts.
This workshop creates a safe container in which every part of your animal nature is welcomed...the wild, fierce parts and the fragile, tender parts. Everything about you has room to be accepted, expressed and loved in our shared vulnerable yearning for intimate human connection.
We will be working from the findings of well researched neurobiology. In particular, we will activate the limbic system, which determines which of the "Four F's" is the appropriate response to a stimulating situation: Fighting, Fleeing, Feeding or...shall we say...Fornicating. Let's inhabit all of those energies in a healthy, respectful, playful, connecting way.
We all have stress in our lives. Let's sort out some healthy ways to either engage it or shake it off.
We all have fierce feelings come through us. Let's turn that urge to stand up for ourselves into a form of showing up in our glory, and for celebrating one another's brilliance.
We all long for intimacy in our lives. Let's drill some exercises that open up the pathways in our brain to let love in, and to let ourselves out.
We all have primal passions coursing through us every day. Society mostly trains us to civilize our animal nature by stuffing the raw matter of our hearts into a tidy, presentable package. In this workshop, we intentionally evoke that rawness of our core being to actually feel one another, to react to one another, to resonate with one another, and to synchronize ourselves with our vitality.
The life force streams through us as individuals, and since we are fundamentally social animals we feel most joyously alive in the presence of others who are themselves joyfully alive.
Come feel your Primal Passions. Be seen. Feel more fully yourself, alive and expressed.

Location is Wildcat Studio, the same location as Level 1, 2547 8th St. Berkeley, CA
Workshop fee is a sliding scale of $75-$40. (The workshop is valued at $75, but if that fee prohibits you from attending then pay what works for you. Work trade arrangements are also possible for further fee reduction. These fee accommodations are so that no one who wants to attend needs to hold themselves back. After all, this is a workshop about showing up!)
