KINGSLEY FLOOD W/THE RATIONALES&JENEE HALSTEAD

Kingsley Flood is a Boston and Washington, DC - based band with a "Billy Bragg-like folk-punk sound" (Washington Post) and "signature high energy" (Rolling Stone).  They have played the main stage at the Newport Folk Festival, have been featured on the History Channel and Lifetime Network, opened for Josh Ritter, Grace Potter, Lucius, Langhorne Slim and have been been covered by NPR, New York Times, Esquire Magazine, Wall Street Journal, American Songwriter, among others.  They released three EP's in 2015 and their third full length, Another Other, was released in October 2016. Their latest full-length will be released in Spring 2018.

One of those bands that matters. - PopMatters

A band that seems to understand where inspiration can lead - NPR

"The kind of hard-rocking folk-punk band that makes you want to dance with the person next to you and then punch them in the face. In a totally good way." - Esquire

An American rock and roll band, The Rationales have been noted for their instantly memorable anthemic songs, their lush arrangements full of soaring harmonies, guitar pyrotechnics, swirling keys and evocative pedal steel. Bringing in aspects of alternative rock and americana, powerpop and a hint of weird, the Rationales bring to mind such acts as Wilco, Radiohead and Cracker and the Jayhawks, while always sounding entirely like themselves.
The RATIONALES nominated for a BOSTON MUSIC AWARD for "Best Americana Act" Sept 2017

Some reviews for Jenee Halstead's magical newest record "Edge of the World"
"Her new EP, Edge of the World," hits my ears like sorceress music, rings of smoke through the trees and the bells of Rhymney." - Jed Gottlieb, Boston Herald

"She takes you to the edge with some of the most beautifully contemplative, ambient arrangements of recent times. I put this record on and was awestruck." - Steve Morse, Berklee College of Music
