Chicago Artists Chorale Presents Its Spring Concert: Americana
The Chicago Artists Chorale, under the artistic direction of Tom Vendafreddo, will present the second concert of its fourth season on Tuesday, May 29th at 7:30pm. The program, "Americana," features John Corigliano's beautifully lush "Fern Hill" set to the poem by Dylan Thomas. The concert will also include familiar tunes by Aaron Copland, Stephen Foster, and Billy Joel. We are pleased to have MOSAIC, a spiritual ensemble, with us for a guest performance. We invite you to join us for an evening celebrating our nation's musical contributions!

Chicago Artists Chorale (CAC) was established in 2014 in response to members of Chicago's rich theatre community looking for an outlet to express themselves through the art of choral music. Since its induction, the group has grown to over 60 singers and expanded to include a variety of artists including actors, directors, choral and theatre educators, stage managers, video game music composers, music directors, sign language interpreters, and more.
Under the direction of Artistic Director Tom Vendafreddo, CAC performs biannual concerts at venues such as the Chicago Temple, Athenaeum Theatre, and The Nettelhorst School. The group has also appeared on WGN Morning News, WGN Midday News, and on the radio with Dean Richards Sunday Morning. In 2015, CAC became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission consists of expanding the artistic experiences of its singers and its audience members.
