WAVE Spring concert: Celestial Voices--Music for the sun, moon, and stars
WAVE's Spring offering of chants and polyphony is inspired by our fascination with the mysterious lights in the sky. You'll hear varied settings of "Ave Maris Stella" ranging from Gregorian chant to a constellation of medieval and Renaissance motets. Our nearest and dearest celestial orb will be celebrated, as well, with songs in celebration of our own planet's return to springtime. Music from the Las Huelgas Manuscript, Landini, Josquin, Victoria, Senfl, Rameau, Casulana, and more.
