Sammy Davis Jr: I've Gotta Be Me
The first major homage to a uniquely gifted entertainer who led a complex and contradictory life, encompassing his stage debut at age three to some of his final performances. Davis strove to achieve the American dream in a time of racial prejudice and shifting political lines. Featuring interviews with Billy Crystal, Norman Lear, Jerry Lewis, Whoopi Goldberg, and Kim Novak.
