Handel and Haydn Society Young Men's Chorus: Choir School Benefit Concert
The acclaimed Handel and Haydn Society Young Mens Chorus from Boston, Dr. Kevin McDonald, director, will perform a benefit concert for The Choir School of Newport Countys 2018 England Tour. The program will last one hour without intermission and will include The Professional Choristers of The Choir School and the adult sopranos and altos from St. Johns Choir joining in a combined SATB finale: Paul Halley's transcendent Untraveled Worlds. Also featuring both choirs will be an audience sing-along of Parry's Jerusalem, with descant. Reception following.
