A Tapestry of American Song
"A Tapestry of American Song creates a walk down memory lane. This will be a wonderful family opportunity to savor Americana musical history. The chorale will sing many favorites including music by Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Stephen Foster, Moses Hogan, Rogers & Hammerstein and Stephen Sondheim. Music selections include folk, jazz, gospel, hymns, show tunes, and spirituals.
The Petaluma Chorale is a mixed vocal ensemble of 50 voices, sponsored by the Santa Rosa Junior College Community Education Program. The Chorale has been part of Sonoma Countys musical community since the 1950s.
