McCall SummerFest 2018: Ensembles & Guitar Concert
SummerFest 2018 opens with a showcase of company musicians playing together in various combinations. Featuring guitar virtuoso Mak Grgic, organist Tom Robin Harris, Scott Thornburg on trumpet, a cello quartet, a brass quintet and other assorted musical collaborations.
McCALL MUSIC SOCIETY PRESENTS SUMMERFEST 2018: JULY 22-29
SummerFest 2018 is a week-long festival of classical and pops orchestra concerts held in McCall, Idaho, presented by McCall Music Society.
David Itkin returns for his fourth season as SummerFests Artistic Director and Conductor. He is the Music Director/Conductor of the Abilene Philharmonic, Director of Orchestral Studies at the University of North Texas College of Music, Conductor Laureate of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, author of Conducting Concerti, and a composer of classical orchestral music and film music.
In addition to the 50-piece SummerFest Orchestra, featured soloists for 2018 include the ever popular violinist Tim Fain; world-class guitarist Mak Grgic; stage actress and vocalist Rachel Tyler; and organist Tom Robin Harris.
