Together in Song
Join the Bellingham Community Chorus and Allegra Women's Ensemble as they bring to you music for every taste. Enjoy a performance which will herald in the warm temperatures and longer days of spring and summer.
The Community Chorus will be commemorating two anniversaries, celebrating the King Singers at their 50th and 100th year of Leonard Bernstein's birth by singing pieces by the Beatles to "West Side Story" tunes. They will also be joined by a Brass and Percussion Ensemble to perform Gwyneth Walker's "Together in Song", a three-song set of contemporary adaptations of American spirituals. Allegra will delight with songs of celebration, flowers and Celtic traditions. They will be joined by a small ensemble of flute, violin and percussion.
