Director Ruben Van Kempen and Maestro Bernard Kwiram lead a delightful new production of this rollicking comedy - featuring rapturous maidens, handsome and moody poets, a platoon of enthusiastic British Dragoon Guards, and the local milkmaid who throws a wrench in it all!
One of their most successful shows, Patience, or Bunthornes Bride showcases both the lyrical genius and keen edge for satire that have made Gilbert & Sullivan household names. But more than just a witty and funny show, the score also boasts some of Sullivans most plaintive melodies and beautiful orchestrations!
The Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society is absolutely delighted to present this true masterpiece, performing at The Bagley Wright Theatre at Seattle Rep, opening on July 13th and running until July 22nd, 2018.
