READY! for Kindergarten Program Training
$150 per attendee - Reception & lunch included
This year the READY! for Kindergarten Program day offers two tracks. Pick your track when you register!
Track 1: READY! for Kindergarten Training for Schools, Foundations & Community Organizations
READY! for Kindergarten facilitator training will help you gain an understanding of the READY! program and curriculum. You will learn play with a purpose teaching techniques, how to best prepare to facilitate a READY! parent and caregiver workshop, and the keys to effective workshop facilitation.
Track 2: READY! for Kindergarten Training for Child Care Centers & Preschools
This training is designed to further learning about early childhood development and how to effectively bring to life the READY! for Kindergarten play with a purpose approach with children ages 2 - 5 in a multi-age setting.
The Child Care Centers & Preschools kits are an adaptation of the READY! parent lessons offered by schools, foundations and community organizations to extend learning for the child between home and child care or preschool.
Reception 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

11:30 - 12 p.m. - Rising out of Poverty - One Community's Story (Debbie Knuckles)
12 - 1 p.m. - Lunch
1 - 1:45 p.m. Play With a Purpose Wherever You Are (Deya Osgood)
1:45 - 2:45 p.m. - Program Success Story & Inspiration (Vicki Yonts)
How we partnered with local kindergarten and Head Start teachers to reach more parents and expand our program to serve families with children birth to age 5.
3 - 4 p.m. - Reaching Families & Overcoming Challenges Panel Discussion + Q&A
