Center for Communication in Medicine Presents The Doctor an exclusive Screening
Center for Communication in Medicine presents and exclusive Screening of "The Doctor" starring William Hurt.Loosely based on Dr. Edward Rosenbaum's 1988 book, A Taste Of My Own Medicine. The film stars William Hurt as Jack MacKee, a doctor who undergoes a transformation in his views about life, illness and human relationships.
SpeakSooner.org is an initiative of the nonprofit Center for Communication in Medicine (CCM). Founded in Bennington, Vermont in 2006, CCMs mission is to educate patients, families and healthcare professionals about the key role of communication in improving healthcare delivery. SpeakSooner.org and the Difficult Conversations Workbook have been developed to empower patients to assert their role in the healthcare dialogue and become active partners in planning their own care.
