Dave Burrell Under_Line Salon
Distinguished composer-pianist Dave Burrell is an international figure in the contemporary creative music scene. He emerged in the 60's as a leader in the contemporary jazz scene along with other first wave NYC 'new thing' musicians including Marion Brown, Pharoah Sanders, and Archie Shepp.
On Thursday March 8th at 7pm, Arts For Art will organize a salon in honor of our friend Dave Burrell, as we build up to his lifetime achievement celebration at the Vision Festival on May 23. Enjoy food, wine, a solo performance from the master, and an open conversation on his legendary career.
