Beautiful Carcass
Choreographer Maya Soto and composer Nico Tower present Beautiful Carcass, a bewitching carnival world that dissects the complexities of living in a female assigned body. A production for the #metoo movement, it is an act of resistance and a course of healing. Featuring a cast of nine womxn dancers, Beautiful Carcass uses powerful contemporary dance and an original sound score to reflect the interplay between objectification and empowerment as the dancers navigate an insidious desire to capture and own beauty.
Beautiful Carcass is TeenTix eligible! Teens with a TeenTix pass may purchase tickets at the door for $5. Two for $10 Sundays are also available at the door, on Sunday May 13 and 20.
