What a great way to spend a Saturday evening in May!
Carol Barnett's popular Bluegrass Mass will be accompanied by a bluegrass band, and may have you wanting to dance in the aisles!
Then, in honor of Leonard Bernstein's birth centennial, you'll hear the complete set of choruses from his beloved and celebrated Candide.
And both of those fun, wonderful musical experiences may be eclipsed by the actual presence of Carol Barnett, highlighted by the world premiere of her piece commissioned by KCS for this event. She is one of the top living U.S. composers, and her new 8-minute piece for full choir provides you with the chance to be the first to experience this new "music for the ages."
