LAVC All-Steinway Celebration / Benefit Concert
Performances by the Valley Symphony Orchestra, The LAVC Wind Ensemble, The LAVC Chamber Singers and College Choir, and various soloists. A Celebration of LAVC attaining our recent status of "All-Steinway School." Proceeds from the concert will benefit the LAVC Music Department Piano Maintenance Fund.
Works include: Mozart Piano Concerto No. 9 in E-flat Major, K271 ("Jeunnehomme-Konzert"), featuring LAVC Alumna Liya Melikyan, piano. Beethoven's "Eroica" Symphony (final movement) featuring Felix Grossman, guest conductor. "Cordoba" (by Julie Giroux) featuring Aaron Lopez, piano.
