Equinox Rising
Equinox Rising is simultaneously a celebration of Julz Ilang-Bulan's first album and a showcase highlighting QTPOC singer-songwriters!
This show is featuring an exciting lineup of local and visiting musicians: Julz Ilang-Bulan , Zora Seboulisa, Nic Masangkay - Artist, Be Steadwell (Washington, DC), SuperKnova (Chicago) and surprise guests! Opening ritual will be by Kuwago and emcee for the night will be Ale Abreu!
Equinox Rising is an all-ages, free entry event. Albums, posters and merchandise by featured musicians will be available (cash and card accepted).
Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for a chance to win an autographed album by Julz, a Concert Poster signed by all musicians, and more!
Equinox Rising is partially funded by community members, Office of Arts & Culture Seattle, City Of Seattle - Small Sparks Fund, fiscally sponsored by Arts Corps and co-sponsored by Pinoy Brown Box.

All are welcome to celebrate this occasion. This show centers artists who are Queer, Trans, Two-Spirit, Non-Binary, Indigenous, Black, Brown, People of Color, and/or identify as Chronically Ill or Disabled. Please respect that this show is meant to center, celebrate and honor these identities and communities.

Other Information: -Light food and beverages will be available. -There is one single stall gender-neutral bathroom. -Reserved seating will be accessible for guests with disabilities and multiple chemical sensitivities (fragrance-free seating area).
Building Accessibility: There are two floor levels at the studio - both accessible from two separate door entrances facing King Street. Inside there are two steps that separate the two levels. To access each level without stairs, guests can enter in/out of the separate door entrances.
Transportation/Parking: -Venue is nearby and accessible by Metro Bus, Sounder Train, Link Light Rail, Street Car, and Sound Transit. -Street parking (free after 7pm) and parking lots (for a fee) available.
