RAM Salon: Kate Dillingham & Friends @ Sage
Kate Dillingham, cellist and RAMs Executive Director, curates this program featuring Steinway artist Susan Svrek and bass vocalist Matthew Curran as guest performers in world premieres by Seth Boustead, Grammy award-winner Gabriela Lena Frank with David Fetherolf, Gilbert Galindo, and newest RAM composer Kamala Sankaram. Also featured on the program is "Kwanju, May 1980" by Yuji Yakahashi for solo piano, and Claude Debussys Sonate for cello and piano. Join us for a evening full of color and imagery in music composed for cello, piano, and bass voice. The March 16th concert takes place at Sage Music, Long Island City, Queens. The March 17th concert takes place at the Tenri Cultural Institute in Manhattan.
