Choreographer Maria Gillespie presents new work that explores the spectrum of desire within dancing bodies. The performers collaborated with Gillespie in the fall of 2017 to explore space, surface, armature, proximity, contact and texture as well as the "hyper" body, the tactile body, the body pulled in many directions, and the ecstatic body. How much distance is needed for spectacle? How many cycles before our compulsions become mundane?
