Supper Club presented by Crafted and Planes on Paper
In the tradition of Planes on Paper's moving venue "secret" shows, we are happy to be partnering with Crafted to present these one-of-a-kind dining and concert experience. This is a presale only event (no door tickets), and seating is VERY limited. Get your tickets early if you'd like to be there.
The evenings feature music from Planes on Paper, as well as a specially curated menu by Yakima's own chef-inspired, farm-to-table eatery, Crafted, but this show has a very special guest. Widower, a friend of Planes and a jaw-dropping songwriter, will be here all the way from Brooklyn, NY for the show.
We know this looks like a spendy ticket, but ticket price INCLUDES your dinner. You will be presented with a carefully curated menu. The good folks at Crafted are very excited to be part of the show, so they have done everything possible to help us keep prices reasonable without sacrificing any of the culinary magic they've quickly become known for. If you are not already a regular customer, you certainly will be after you try what they have planned. Refreshments also provided, but we can't give away alcohol, so wine, beer, and spirits will be available for purchase.
Fans of Planes on Paper have perhaps attended previous "secret location" or "supper club" shows, and can attest to the unique experience they offer. The evening will begin at 6:30, with dinner served at large tables. The artists, chefs, and audience members will have an hour to enjoy each other's company, while also enjoying some of the absolute best cuisine the Yakima Valley has to offer.
Following dinner, attendees will be reseated in the performance area; Widower will start the music at 7:30. Planes on Paper will play following his set.
About Planes on Paper: Planes on Paper is currently in uncharted territory for a Yakima-based band; their songwriting has been celebrated by national media outlets and featured on radio stations around the world, and they have been invited to play some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including a recent trip to The John F. Kennedy Center for the performing arts. Their newest single, "Television," a politically-motivated folk song, featuring just Jen and Navid's voices and an acoustic guitar, is currently in rotation on AAA radio stations across the US, as well as Switzerland, Germany, the UK, and a number of other countries; in an era in which radio often appears to be a platform for only the loudest, fastest, and most danceable music, they are certainly defying the odds.
About Widower: New Jersey native, Seattle staple, and off and on again New Yorker, Kevin Large has been making music under the WIDOWER moniker for over a decade. Larges lyrically driven songwriting is reminiscent of Pettys more mellow moments. Theres a cinematic sentiment to these songs, like a car in the rain in a Cameron Crowe film.
Past Supper Club shows presented by Navid include: Christopher Paul Stelling (New York), Aaron Lee Tasjan (Nashville), Bart Budwig (Enterprise, OR), The Hilldogs (Portland), Ira Wolf (Nashville), Bryan John Appleby (Seattle), Fauna Shade (Everett, WA), Dean Johnson (Seattle) and more, with venues ranging from sports bars to abandoned barns.
