Robert Ellis & Adriel Denae at The Law Office
One night of magical music at the Law Office Pub and Music Hall brings together two of the top songwriters in the industry.

Adriel Denae, longtime supporter of the Yorkville music scene, will be debuting songs from her brand album produced by Norah Jones. Adriel will be joined on stage by partner and collaborator Cory Chisel.

Robert Ellis began performing as "Eyes Like Lions" early in 2005, playing in Lake Jackson, Texas. The self-released LP The Great Rearranger was sold at shows, but Ellis found a higher level of success when American Songwriter magazine named his second album, Photographs, one of the top 50 albums of 2011. Robert Ellis is a New West Records recording artist. Ellis has toured with Alabama Shakes, Old Crow Medicine Show and the Old 97's. Originally from Texas, in 2012, Ellis relocated from Austin, Texas to Nashville, Tennessee to work on his third album, The Lights from the Chemical Plant, in Eric Masse's Casino recording studio under the direction of album producer Jacquire King. Ellis has said that this album, influenced by his hometown, Lake Jackson, Texas, incorporates more pop influences.

"Robert Ellis enters this artistic realm on his self-titled fourth solo album, which considers the tilted fulcrum of a dissolving marriage to confront the allure and the cost of restlessness. In gorgeous arrangements that span a wide range of singer-songwriterly approaches to rock and soul, Ellis builds stories of love pursued, deflected, damaged and submerged  though never totally lost  as a way of confronting the limits human imperfection places on all kinds of intimacy, including self-knowledge.
