Jazz at the Chimes - Brazilian Vocalist Claudia Villela
Rio de Janeiro native, Claudia Villela, brings her artistry to the beautiful Julia Morgan-designed Chapel of the Chimes for a magical and transformational immersion in Brazilian music. Her program will feature music by a few Brazilian masters, including Antonio Carlos Jobim, and stirring original compositions. Joining her will be bassist Dan Robbins and drummer/percussionist Celso Alberti.
This concert is part of the Jazz at the Chimes series sponsored by Chapel of the Chimes and held at the stunning Julia Morgan Chapel of the Chimes, an historical landmark building. This intimate space seats about 160 in linear pews.
Tickets may also be available at the door (cash only), based on availability. On site box office opens at 12:30.
