9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Join special guest Beverley Johnston (Toronto), drum set artist Joe Poole, KPU's Daniel Tones, Fringe Percussion, and other local artists for a day of workshops and performances that celebrate the art of percussion. This event is open to anyone with an interest in percussion including high-school and post-secondary students, teachers, and percussion enthusiasts of all ages.
Schedule
9:30 a.m. - Welcome
9:35 a.m. - Mallet Percussion Clinic with Beverley Johnston
10:30 a.m. - Event #2: Drum Set Clinic with Joe Poole
10:30 a.m. - Event #3: Girls Only Percussion Workshop with Beverley Johnston
11:30 a.m. - Lunch (off campus: participants are responsible for their own lunch)
1:30 p.m. - Midday Concert
3:00 p.m. - Interactive "In C" performance led by Daniel Tones
4:00 p.m. - Wrap-up and see you next year!
