Soliloquies of Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway

in honor of BLACK HERSTORY MONTH, we would like to offer 2 nights of the music of Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway.

we will start with the night of love recognition, the holiday of love, sweet Valentine's Day, to recap some of the songs from the 1972 album released as a duet record, and we have added tunes which have placed both respective artists as members of the DNA of the history of music created by BLACK FOLX, the descendants of Queens and Kings of Africa, who were shipped to be enslaved, but perseverance of whom could not be incinerated by the colonial structure for which our Indigenous lands have been poisoned with.

let the music of Flack and Hathaway remind us of the contributions of BLACK PEOPLE, while we take a solemn knee in contemplation and gratitude for their part in creating this country, this world.
