YachtCon III

We're back for a third time. This year's event will follow a similar format as previous years', with a series of interviews and panels featuring local soccer personalities. That means we'll have representatives from the Seattle Sounders, Seattle Reign and maybe some others. Among the guests at the previous two YachtCons were Cristian Roldan, Stefan Frei, Adrian Hanauer, Garth Lagerwey, Steve Zakuani, Roger Levesque, Lesle Gallimore and Bill Predmore. This year's event will feature similarly awesome guests (although we can't yet announce who they'll be). There will also be plenty of photo opportunities and new this year, a costume contest.

We'll be raffling off all sorts of great prizes, enjoying good food, good company and having a wonderful time while raising money for charity. Like last year, we'll be donating proceeds to the Autism Center at Seattle Children's. We raised $5,000 last year and will be hoping to beat that this year.

This year's tickets are a little more expensive, but still as good of a deal as you'll find on anything like this. With last year's event filling Queen Anne Beerhall to capacity, buying tickets in advance is probably even more important. Based on feedback from last year, we also added a "premium seating" option that will guarantee you an actual seat (as opposed to the benches that were the only option last year).
