A prolific jam ensemble saluting John Coltrane

This eclectic group of established Bay Area musicians will perform John Coltranes epic recordings, A Love Supreme & Meditations. This all-star ensemble is sure to create a musical memory that will celebrate the joy, spirit and genius of Coltranes masterpieces. Jim Thomas is founding member and of Santa Cruzs The Mermen, a popular eclectic surf ensemble. Henry Kaiser is a fixture on the San Francisco Bay Area music scene. He is considered a member of the 'first generation' of American free improvisers. Reed Mathis records and tours with Golden Gate Wingmen, Tea Leaf Green, the Marco Benevento Trio, amongst other artists, and was a founding member of the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, a group he co-led for fifteen years. John Hanrahan is a veteran drummer of the Chicago music scene based in Santa Cruz. His quartet performed A Love Supreme at the 2014 Monterey Jazz fest in honor of the 50th anniversary. Tim Lin on saxophone has performed as a sideman with jazz luminaries such as Kenny Burrell, Tootie Heath, Russell Ferrante, Carl Allen, Mike Clark, and The Grammy Award winning Pacific Mambo Orchestra, Bob Bralove is a performer, producer, composer, and artist has traveled a path of music and technology to his own unique vision. Honing his skills with artists as diverse as Stevie Wonder and the Grateful Dead
