NEMO - New Expression Mandolin Orchestra concert

The New Expression Mandolin Orchestra (NEMO), directed by Chris Acquavella, will performing a Latin inspired concert for it's third season. NEMO is a plucked string orchestra made up of mandolins, mandolas, mandocellos, guitars, and bass. This season we will be performing works by Piazzolla, Paci, Zambrano, Gianneo, Behrend. All the music has either been written specifically for mandolin orchestra, or arranged for it. We will also have a small interlude of chamber music.
The concert will be on Saturday, March 9th, 2013, 7:00PM.
