Youth Resource Bank Benefit
Come join The RAINBOW GIRLS from Bodega, Calif and THRIVE CHOIR Ensemble from Oakland to benefit At-Risk Youth. This concert features performances, live auction, a large silent auction to fill the coffers of the YRB endowment fund for the coming year.
The RAINBOW GIRLS are legendary for their independent and creative spirit. They met at UC Santa Barbara 6 years ago and have been touring North American and Europe ever since, making a great mark amongst fans of all ages. They have performed at the Kate Wolf Folk Festival, Zion Folk Festival, Great American Music Hall, and many other venues. They will feature their new album American Dream and perform as both an acoustic trio and an electric, plug-in quartet in this show.
THRIVE CHOIR will inspire with their songs of social justice, inspiration, and yearning for community as they gather as a short ensemble of their larger, very diverse, and inspiring choir that is beloved in the East Bay. They have performed at the Bioneers Conference recently and exemplify the best of youthful idealism and today's multi-cultural collaboration in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Dummyheads, a local Santa Cruz teen improv troupe, will open the evening.
LIVE AUCTION items an adventurous Vacation Stay at a Nature Reserve in South Africa, Vacation Stays in Kaui and Capitola, Private Fly-Over of SF Bay, and various Sharks, Warriors, and Giants professional sports tickets.
