Cecily Ward - Dances for Solo Violin
Cecily is returning to the Bay Area for her first West Coast recital since the Cypress Quartet disbanded in 2016.
She is performing a program of unaccompanied violin music, including music by Tartini, Schulhoff, Ruehr and Harbison in the exquisite and intimate Maybeck Recital Hall.
Composer Elena Ruehr will be on hand to discuss her work "RED" - written for Cecily in 2006. This will be the California premiere.
Light refreshments will be served at intermission.
