We invite you to an exquisite Sound and Poetry Journey - "And This is My Beloved," an intimate Salon with The Murmurations Duo. Bathe yourself in waves of transcendent healing sounds, divinely inspired poetry and improvised acoustic soundscapes performed on cello, shruti, tuning forks, saxophone, clarinet, Tibetan bowls, blossom bells, frame drum, balafon, chimes, voice and gong. Note: For deeper relaxation, you may wish to bring cushions, blankets and yoga mats for lying down.
Confirmation and directions to the venue, a private home in Oakland's Montclair District, will be given once your RSVP online booking is received.

Bios:
Suellen Primost, a seasoned, conservatory trained cellist, recording artist and sound healer, is known for her soulful expressivity and versatility across genres ranging from classical and jazz to many types of world music: Celtic, Eastern European, Indian Classical and Ambient. With Jérémy Marais and The Murmurations Duo, Suellen offers Music/World Poetry Salons and Sound Healing. Jérémy Marais, a stunning, highly sought after French born multi-instrumentalist and recording artist (on saxophone, clarinet, frame drum, djembe, balafon shruti, blossom bells and small percussion) has travelled the world studying the traditional music of Spain, West Africa, Turkey, India and Israel, touring yearly with acclaimed Jerusalem-based ensemble, Nava Tehila. A certified CIIS sound healer and Theta Healing practitioner, Jérémy provides soundscapes for yoga classes; presents music, world poetry salons and house concerts with cellist Suellen Primost of The Murmurations Duo; participates in sound healing journeys with Sonic Shamanic and Laura Inserras Inner Landscapes at The Rose Labyrinth.
