Ahead of its time when it premiered in 1959 and often called a neglected masterpiece, Fiorello! is a classic Broadway musical that features heartbreaking ballads ("When Did I Fall in Love"), rousing chorus numbers ("Politics and Poker") and melodic showstoppers ("Little Tin Box") to tell the story of one small, honest man's struggle against corruption in big-city politics

Fiorello! is one of only eight musicals to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The show tells the story of New York City congressman and mayor Fiorello LaGuardia, an unconventional Republican politician who put an end to the corrupt politics of Tammany Hall. The story is not only historically significant, but altogether inspiring, comedic and romantic.
