ABOUT THE ARTISTS
HEATHER MASSE & JED WILSON
Vocalist Heather Masse is one-third of the Juno Award-winning Canadian trio The Wailin' Jennys. For this concert, Heather joins forces with pianist and former 317 Main Community Music Center teacher, Jed Wilson.
Heather and Jed met as jazz students at the New England Conservatory of Music and have been performing together for more than 10 years. They have appeared in theaters across the country including guest spots on Garrison Keillor's popular radio program A Prairie Home Companion. Heather's background is steeped in the jazz tradition, which informs her distinct approach to singing folk, pop and bluegrass.
