Ukiah Symphony presents "Concerto! Concerto" January 27 & 28, 2018
Saturday, January 27, 8pm and Sunday, January 28, 3 pm: The Ukiah Symphony Orchestra will perform Piano Concerto in f minor by Joseph Nemeth, with pianist, Elizabeth MacDougall; Trumpet Concerto in A-Flat Major by Alexander Arutiunian, featuring trumpeter, Landon Gray; Concerto for 2 Horns and Strings by Vivaldi with Randy Masselink and John Lounsbery, playing French horn; and several scary tone poems: In the Hall of the Mountain King by Grieg; Danse Macabre, by Saint Saens, Ride of the Valkyries, by Wagner; and Night on Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky. Performances will be held at the Mendocino College Centre Theatre, at 1000 Hensley Creek Road, Ukiah. Parking is free and there is wheelchair access (ramp/seating). Tickets are $25 adults, $20 seniors (65 and over), and students with an ASB card and those under 18 will be given a free ticket at the Will Call door, 30 minutes prior to the performance.
