Bill & Kate Isles ONLY Duluth Show This Winter, with a "Heart" twist!
2013 Marks the 20th anniversary of Bill's survival of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Bill and Kate have decided to mark the occasion, then will raise money to purchase a portable Automated Electronic Defibrillator (AED) to carry with them on tour. Many of the venues where they perform do not have AED's. Their accessibility has saved thousands of lives. The survival rate of SCA is only about 7%. Having an AED adminisitered in the first minute raises that to over 90%. In five minutes, it's still 50% survival.
During this concert, there will be an opportunity to contribute to help with this purchase. The Isles are hoping to raise the $1500 needed for the unit and extra supplies during February, "Heart Month".
They will be joined in concert by long-time collaborators, Les Hazelton on Bass/Vocals, and Ted Heinonen on Mandolin.
