Winter Concert Featuring works by Hana Ajiashvili and Richard Lavenda Sunday, January 28 4:00 PM
Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, Hana Ajiashvili immigrated to Israel in 2001 and continued her activities as a composer and director at the Or Yehuda Conservatory. In 2007 she completed her doctorate at Bar-Ilan University, under the supervision of Gideon Lewensohn and Betty Olivero. Dr. Ajiashvili will be a Schusterman Visiting Israeli Artist at The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.
Students will perform works by Ajiashvili and Dr. Richard Lavenda, Professor of Composition and Theory.
Tickets purchased at the door will have additional fee between $2-$5.
